I just need a short overview on how ancient greek, chinese, and japanese structures were protected against earthquakes. any architectural styles or something like that. I have been unable to find this information i need for a report
Chosen Answer:
none of them had what we know as defensible archetecture, they all suffered terribly in quake areas and times. that what they did build was almost always destroyed.. horribly with ensuing loss of lives and structures.. they rebuilt in time as to erase the events of prior times japan is the leading one for theory, sometimes it works on a small scale, on a large scale, the results remain the same. ye olde greece is at the bottom of the seas(corsica was once part of the main land area)
